WOODLAND HILLS, CA - This year was the
10th anniversary of the Berlin Venus Awards, one of
the largest international trade and awards shows, featuring
exhibitors, attendees and nominees from over 20 counties.
Up against stiff competition from other
male actors from all over the world, Tommy Gunn took
home the Best International Actor award.
This has been a busy year for Tommy
Gunn at the awards shows, starting off 2006 at AVN winning
Best Sex Scene (Video) and Best Supporting Actor for
Pirates, 3 Temptation awards, the Night Moves award
for Best New Director and of course hosting the FAME
Awards with Carmen Luvana.
“It was a real surprise receiving the
news that I had been nominated in this category. I understand
the Venus show is a pretty prestigious event and just
to be nominated was a thrill in itself. It's nice to
be recognized not only nationally, but internationally
as well. I received the good news that I had won while
I was on the set for Vivid, my wife Rita Faltoyano,
who was at the show, phoned me up shortly after accepting
the award on my behalf and thanking Antigua Pictures
and Vivid. I would also like to include in that thanks
Paul Thomas who directed To Die For, the cast and crew,
Vivid and Venus and everybody involved in making this
a reality,” Tommy said.
